Javkhlan Ariunbold grew up in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, studied at the Kunstakademie Münster and completed her postgraduate studies at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne in 2024.
Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions, including at the Kunstmuseum Bochum (2024), the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf (2024), the Marres, House for Contemporary Culture, Maastricht (2024), the Goethe-Institut Paris (2022), and the IKOB – Museum für zeitgenössische Kunst, Eupen (2021). In 2025, she participated in the Ulaanbaatar Biennale in Mongolia.
