Anna Titova was born in 1984 in Ulan-Ude. She studied at the Glasgow School of Art, the Institute of Contemporary Art Problems, and the Valand Academy. She lives and works in Paris.
Selected group exhibitions include the Venice Biennale (2011), the Moscow International Biennale for Young Art (2013), the parallel program of Manifesta (2014), the parallel programs of the Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art (2015), and the Ural Industrial Biennial (2015). In 2014, Titova, together with Stanislav Shuripa, founded the Agency of Singular Investigations (ASI), an independent platform for critical discussion of current issues in art and artistic discourse. In 2015, Titova became a laureate of the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art's Young Artists Grant. Her works are held in public collections at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art and the V-A-C Foundation.
