Javkhlan's works extend beyond the canvas, connecting pictorially and narratively with their surroundings and involving the viewer. Her work focuses on our contradictory relationship with nature – between respect and reverence on the one hand, and exploitation and destruction on the other. The artist weaves together mythological and real elements to create a mystical world.
