Almagul Menlibayeva (born 1969, Almaty, Kazakhstan) is a contemporary artist working in the genres of video art and photography. She lives and works in Kazakhstan and Berlin and holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree from the University of Arts and Theater in Almaty. She gained international recognition after participating in the 15th and 18th Sydney Biennales; the 51st, 52nd, 53rd, and 56th Venice Biennales; the 10th Sharjah Biennale; the 4th Moscow Biennale; the 1st Kiev Biennale; and the 2nd Mediterranean Biennale in Sakhnin, Israel.
