Art is like water. And it can take various forms, depending on the vessel in which it is contained. A special project of Evgeny Antufyev and Lyunob Nalogina consists of an elaborate booth-ornament.
Mosaics which they made in collaboration are exhibited side by side with a personal collection of Siberian archeology, ethnography, toys, home furniture, books from their library - all this helps us to get into the artists workshop and understand their creative method.
There are also Marshal Grechko chairs, a chair that inspired Matisse, crystal vases produced in Gus-Khrustalny in collaboration with the architect Olga Treivas.
Marble, onyx, malachite and lapis lazuli adorn the mosaics.
Archeology of Siberia and the Urals. Tea set of grandmother Antonina Vasilyevna. A wax doll, a silver mask.
Wallpaper with stained glass windows and mosaics from the Moscow metro.
Symbols and shapes are intertwined, flowers crawl like snakes, and birds sing their songs.
