Vladimir Chernyshev (b. 1992) lives and works between Nizhny Novgorod and St Petersburg, where he studied at the Peter the Great Polytechnical University. His work is focused on public art, street art, photography, film/video and installation. In addition to his collaborative work with Filatov ("Tabula" , Artwin Gallery, Moscow, 2016) Chernyshev has participated in a number of exhibitions of street art, animation and documentary film, including "The Bell" (High Hopes Museum, NCCA «Arsenal», Nizhny Novgorod, 2015), "Harvest" ( Biennale of Street Art «Artmossfera», Art play, Moscow, 2014), "Empty House" (IV Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, Moscow, 2014), " Untitled, Optimistic Studies" (10th European Biennial of Contemporary Art Manifesta, St. Petersburg, 2014) , "Black Circle IV" (Sheshory, Ukraine, 2013), "The story of the Fisherman" (short film, Moscow Big Animation Festival, 2913) and continuing project "Derelict Village," personal exhibition at Studenaya Exhibition Space in Nizhny Novgorod in 2014. He has been long-list nominated for the «Young artist. Project of the year» at Kandinsky Prize in 2015 and short-list nominated for «Art in public space» at Sergey Kuryokhin Contemporary Art Award in 2014.
